Privacy Policy

• Your cat's photograph. Uploaded by you, stored privately, used to paint the portrait. Nothing else.
• The finished painting. Stored privately so we can show it to you, print it if you buy, and reissue your download if you lose the link.
• Your order details — name, email, delivery address, what you bought, order reference. Needed to take payment, print the thing and send it to you.
• Your email address, if you join the mailing list. Only with your explicit tick, and only until you unsubscribe.
• Anonymous visit counts. Which pages were viewed, and which site sent you. No cookies, no advertising identifiers, no cross-site tracking, nothing tied to your name.
• Chat messages, if you use the chat window, so we can answer you and improve the answers.

We do not collect anything else, and we never sell any of it. There is no data broker at the end of this sentence.

To run a shop at all, a few companies process data on our behalf:

• Shopify — checkout and payment. Your card details go to Shopify and its payment processors. They never reach us, and we could not see them if we tried.
• Google (Gemini) — the image model that paints the portrait. Your photograph is sent to be transformed and is not used to train their models under the terms we operate under.
• Prodigi — our print house. Receives your painting and delivery address, and nothing else, only after you have bought a print.
• Supabase — secure storage for photographs, paintings and order records.
• Zoho and Resend — email, so we can reply to you and send your download link.

Each is bound to use the data only to provide that service.

Photographs and paintings are kept while your commission is live and for a reasonable period afterwards, so we can reprint or reissue a download if something goes wrong. Order records are kept as long as tax and accounting rules require. Mailing-list entries are deleted when you unsubscribe. Ask us to delete your photograph and painting and we will, provided no order is still in production.

We will not post your cat without asking you first. If we would like to show your portrait on the website or on social media, we will write and ask, and "no" is a complete answer that costs you nothing. Any example you see on this site is either our own or shared with permission.

You can ask us to show you what we hold, correct it, delete it, or send it to you in a portable form. You can withdraw consent for marketing email at any time. Write to info@vertexdigitalnow.com and we will act within thirty days. If you are in the UK or EU you may also complain to your local data protection authority.

This shop is not intended for anyone under 16, and we do not knowingly collect their data.

If this policy changes materially we will update the date above and, where the change affects you, say so on the site.
